Martin Luther King Jr. Coloring Pages

Martin Luther King Jr. (Born Michael King January 15, 1929) was an American pastor, activist, humanitarian, and leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement.  He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience based on his Christian beliefs.  He was assassinated on April 4, 1968.  Martin Luther King Jr. Day is an American federal holiday marking the birthday his birthday.  It is observed on the third Monday of January each year.  Use these coloring pages and school and home to learn more about this holiday and the great man it celebrates.  Enjoy!
