Displaying Doodles: There are many ways to show off your artistic talent.

Stained Glass

One of the coolest ways I have found for displaying doodles is to make your own piece of stained glass-without the glass. After you've colored in your black and white outline with bright-colored markers, Display your doodle in front of a window where sunshine comes through. The result is amazing. You've got a piece of art that looks like stained glass. On top of that, you can now buy frames that have no backs. Put the drawing in a frame and hang in front of the window. This is a great idea for students and kids. They get so excited when they can use some of their own artwork to decorate the classroom.

Room Borders

We've all seen those room borders and stickers that you can buy for your kid's rooms. They come in all the latest Disney characters. But instead of decorating the room the same as everyone else-create your own. Draw your own Doodle Art room border to display and show off. Scan your drawing onto the computer and print out on some clear sticker paper.

Invitations, Flyers, Thank-you Notes, Announcements, Posters, Etc.

Instead of using the same old clip-art for these things, use your own Doodle Art. This is a great way for displaying doodles. I don't buy hardly any classroom decoration when it comes to setting up my classroom. Partly because I can't afford it on a teacher's salary, but mostly because I enjoy using my own drawings and art to decorate the room. I feel like my room has a little more of my personality attached to it, then if I used the generic stuff you can buy at the teacher's supply store.Using your own drawings also makes it easier to customize your product to something specific. You don't have to worry about not finding that exact clip-art for the situation anymore. Just use your own.

Flower Pots

There are so many things around the house that could use an artistic face lift. Instead of spending lots of money on ceramic potting plants, buy some plain plastic ones and get to work displaying your doodles. Draw a garden scene on one, and maybe some ladybugs on the other. Have fun with it. Just stop and look around. Everything has potential to be something more. Use your imagination.

Coloring Book

Have everyone draw their own Doodling page. Have them outline their doodle in a nice black marker. Put them all together and have your own coloring book. Students especially love this because it's not too often their art work is in their very own book.
