My focus changes a little from Doodle Art Alley to my summer business, Mehndi Girl. A couple years ago, I was admiring a strangers tattoo when I realized that I might be good at being a Henna Artist. I researched it for a couple weeks then started practicing on myself. After a couple months I felt comfortable enough to sign up for the local farmers market.I have so much fun "doodling" designs on people. It's really a fun & different way to use my creativity. I specialize in fun and whimsical Henna Designs inspired by the Ancient Art of Mehndi. Henna is a beautiful art form that is very enjoyable and exciting for me. I love to create and explore all the unique and wonderful designs that seem to magically appear from a simple line. It's perfect for a Ladies Night or just hanging out together with friends and family. It's sure to leave everyone with a great memento of their time together. Henna is very cooling to the skin and the scents used are very calming and relaxing. I mix my own henna paste, using only fresh red henna (100% Lawsoma inermis), sugar, lemon juice and essential oils.
